Kyogle Earthworx has completed the earthworks for Woollam Constructions facility upgrade at the Whiddon Group's Aged Care Facility behind the Kyogle Memorial Hospital in River Bend Close, Kyogle.
The preparation earthworks initially included construction of a temporary road and pads for work sheds for the principal contractor. Once the project was well underway Kyogle Earthworx proceeded to the main bulk earthworks which included excavation of old services which almost stripped back the entire site. We assisted local plumbing, electrical and concreting contractors with trenching, laying pipes and various other services, then back-filled the entire site in preparation for the above ground building works.
The expansion of the Whiddon Group’s Aged Care Facility in Kyogle will provide 24 new places for elderly residents.
